Projects included state-owned facilities representing various state agencies and a broad range of services from pre-construction through construction and closeout. Pre-construction and construction services were provided for scheduling; estimating; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing supervision/inspection; clerical work; training; project management; project controls; office and project engineering and computer aided drafting and design (CADD). We have an immediate opportunity for a **MEP Superintendent/Construction Inspector** to work from our Client office in Dannemora/Malone supporting a construction project valued at approximately $9 million. The MEP Superintendent/Construction Inspector will fulfill responsibilities in the areas of: + Quality Control + Scheduling + Commissioning + Code compliance + Submittals + Safety + Project Closeout **Duties include:** + Reviewing contact drawings, specifications, and addendums + Inspectinig work performed by contractors for compliance with contract documents and all applicable codes and reference standards + Monitoring contractors' project schedules and alerting EIC of delays + Facilitating and cooperating with the agent to facilitate the commissioning process + Monitoring all code-required testing eg "Special Inspections" required by applicable codes and reporting any issues to EIC + Overseeing and expediting the submittal process + Conducting safety inspections and notifying the EIC of any potential dangers + Helping the EIC to investigate recordable incidents + Attending pre-start-up testing, functional testing, and integration testing for all equipment and systems as directed by EIC. + Verifying compliance of items on detailed inspection lists and assisting EIC to perform Final Inspection > # Job Requirements > **Experience/Education Required:** + High School Diploma (Associate of Science Degree preferred) + Minimum of 6 years of construction experience involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
